1 REGISTRATION, RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
1-1 Method of reservation
Order via the website online
A reservation is confirmed once the payment has been received. No reservation will be registered without any payment.
1-2 Method of payment : By credit card by indicating your card number (without any spaces between the numbers) and the expiration date. Service provided by Banque Populaire
2 PRICE – DISCOUNTS – BILLING
2-1 PRICE
The prices are clearly announced in TTC (tax included) and present a special 20% rate for the TVA.
All the prospecting documents destined to individual clients and groups, present the prices including TTC.
No discount or special promotions on activities will be available during a purchase online.
2-2 DISCOUNTS
No other discount can be added other than the one stated on your offer.
The websites run by CLAN offer special and unique punctual promotions. These only apply to the bookings made solely under the referenced offer and within a time period.
CLAN is a partner with certain discounted offers or promotions. The coupons, discounts or promotions can not be accumulated. The discounted offers are only for individuals and do not apply to the prices for “Groupes – Professionals – Agencies”.
3 SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING
3-1 Definition of the notion of a group
In the context of a group, or the reservations of multiple people, the subscriber takes responsibility to inform the group of the general conditions of sale and the description of the trip. In the case of a last minute destitution, the subscriber will be entitled to pay for the activity.
4 CANCELLATIONS / MODIFICATION OF RESERVATIONS
The present conditions are identical to a request for cancellation or modification.
During booking : 100% of the amount is due on the booking day, no modification or cancellation possible. CLAN can accept to delay the activity purchased.
5 RULES FOR WITHDRAWAL
According to the law article L 121-21-8 of the Consumer’s Code, the retractions laws are not applicable with activities in the nature of transportation, housing, restaurants or leisure activities. The client will therefore not benefit from the laws of withdrawal.
6 REDEEMING A RESERVATION TO A THIRD PARTY
After the client’s request and CLAN’s approval, it will be possible to pass on the reservation to a third party/friend/family.
However, the third party will need to meet the inscription requirements and the conditions prior to the trip.
When you give away your contract, you are held responsible by the seller, for the payment of the activity, but also of the potential additional costs during the activity.
7 PROGRAM MODIFICATION
7-1 Modification by the seller : CLAN can hold the right to modify an activity due to security purposes, floods, droughts, natural catastrophes or accidental (pollution), technical difficulty, physical or psychological abilities insuficient from the participants, without any person having the ability to ask for a refund. Only CLAN can decide on any changes in the program. If our organisation decides to cancel the trip for any kind of motive, the participants will be fully refunded without the ability to request any more indemnisations.
7-2 Modification by the buyer : Any activity that is modified, stopped or not used for any reason will be not reimbursed.
8 RESPONSIBILITIES
Considering the specific and dangerous nature of our activity, each participant is conscious of the risks he/she will take. The person agrees, with full knowledge of the risks, that he/she will not blame CLAN. This includes all members of the family/party.
Each participant will conform to following the guidelines given by the staff for any activity or trip, who can not be held accountable for any accident or incident or corporal damage.
CLAN does not hold responsibility for any stolen/lost/damaged items in any activity, vehicule or on the nautical base. CLAN does not guarantee the impermeability of the containers in the crafts.
Each participant guarantees to us the ability to be immersed in water and swim at least 25 meters, and to be in good health and not have any interdictions to practice outdoor sports.
In the case of a group of multiple people, the subscriber takes responsibility to inform and approve the terms and conditions with the rest of the group, in addition to the information about the trip.
Minimum age:
Canoe and Kayak = 6 years old
For minors participating in activities or trips with CLAN under the responsibility of an outside organisation, that organisation is legally responsible of the conditions for participation.
Parents are tutors are responsible for their children
A minor alone can not sign up without a parental agreement or from a legal tutor
The activities are not recommended to people that are sick, have a history of cardiac diseases, epilepsy and for pregnant women. The participants must be in good physical shape.
9 INSURANCE
9-1 Insurance policy taken by CLAN for its clients
All of the CLAN activities are insured by Responsabilite civile professionnelle.
9-2 CLAN does not propose any cancellation insurance. It is for the participant to have its own insurance if she/he wishes for it.
